Lenovo introduces new ThinkPad notebook named ThinkPad Edge. The models are provided, size 13, 14 and 15-inch, designed for users of small business segment and menengan (SMEs).
In the model 13-inch size, available version of the first ThinkPad to use dual-core AMD processors and equipped with AMD Vision Pro Technology.
In addition to performance, the new laptops are designed by considering the style and affordable price for customers who have a limited budget. Lenovo is also extending jalus retail sales by offering the ThinkPad models Edge in bestbuy stores.
"The SME customers say they want a professional PC with durability and reliability and latest technology, but according to their budget," said Sandy Lumy, Country Manager, Commercial Business, Lenovo Indonesia, in his statement, January 5, 2010.
"Our answer is the family Edge newest ThinkPad laptop," said Sandy. "This product family presents an amazing technology and a strong performance at a price never imagined before," claims Sandy.
With a choice of dual-core processor or Athlon AMD Turion Neo or some are using the Intel Core 2 Duo ultra low voltage and standard dual core processors, notebooks are optimized for Windows 7 through Lenovo Enhanced Experience. Notebook series also has a battery life can reach up to 8 hours.
Lenovo also offers a complete set of solutions and support services are flexible for the latest ThinkPad Series Edge. What about price? ThinkPad Edge 13-inch version will be available around mid-January 2010 with the models in the range starting from U.S. $ 679 through Lenovo Business Partners. Version 14 and 15-inch will be available from Second Quarter 2010. The shops in the U.S. Best Buy will offer 14-inch version.
